It's A Girl!

Just completed the anatomy scan at 18 weeks and 3 days.  The doctor said that everything looked perfect, and that we are going to be the proud parents of a baby girl.  We are both incredibly excited, although poor John David will probably not be too happy with this news.  The number of girls just keeps increasing :)


Here are a couple of the better pictures from the scan.  Both Jessica and baby are doing wonderfully and the doctor saw no cause for concern.  Since everything looks good, it will probably be a while until the next ultrasound; heartbeat checks only for a while.  Sometime between 28 and 32 weeks we're due for another ultrasound; that one will include the 3D/4D imaging so hopefully we'll get some good pictures or videos.
